The Road Ahead

You might not know this but... I've come A LONG LONG WAY!!

From the person that I was before to the person I am today... It's taken me so long to get here.

I use to be shy and timid.. Now I'm more friendly and social
Use to like to be by myself. Now I love to be around people
I use to not take risks in fear of looking stupid. Now, I enjoy the journey.

I can't say that its cause I don't care what people think, because lets be honest, I DO. It's just more accepting me for me. Accepting who I am and saying.. HOT DANG YOU'RE AMAZING!!

Confidence is something I lacked all through out my childhood, teenage and some of my "early 20's"

Having a supportive family in everything I did/ do is amazingly overwhelming and I love it. I love them. they take me for who I am, and I'm grateful

I think what REALLY REALLY helped me was... THE RIGHT FRIENDS!!! My friends that never gave up on me, my friends that always encouraged me, my friends that said... JUST GIVE IT A TRY. These are the same friends that would NEVER make me compromise my standards. My friends that ALWAYS would make sure that I got the best and wouldn't settle for less. My friends that didn't skip a beat when I said I was "OK" and they knew that I really wasn't. To my friends that have stayed by my side through the ups and downs.. THANK YOU!!!

I still have a long road ahead of getting to where I feel like I should be.. but I'm closer than before!!!
